Doon Valley (Heat Treatment) Ltd was formed in 1986 from a private family plant hire business. The company specialised in the mid 1970's and early 1980's as a general plant hire operation hiring all types of contractor's plant and equipment to local companies and authorities.

In 1984 the company was approached by a rig building yard regarding the hire of Heat Treatment Equipment and in 1986 after careful consideration the company decided to change their direction.

From 1986 and the inception of Doon Valley (Heat Treatment) Ltd. the Company now specialise in:

- The Provision of contract personnel for Heat Treatment activities.

- The Hire of Heat Treatment Equipment.

- The Sales of Heat Treatment Equipment and associated consumables.

- The Service, Repair and Calibration of Heat Treatment Equipment.

The company are based in modern premises in Chapelhall near Airdrie, conveniently located to all major motorway links thus ensuring prompt service is given to all clients.
